as a Shark

Have you been turned down for credit by one of our members?

If a member is unprepared to offer you credit and this is the result of information received from another member, consider settling your account with the reporting member/s.

Settlement of your outstanding accounts will be reflected in members feedback about you.

Have you received a letter from Shark Patrol?

  • If there is no dispute, pay the member directly
  • Do not send your money to Shark Patrol
  • If you are unable to pay, contact the member and work out a solution

Failure to pay your overdue account will usually result in an adverse listing on the Shark Patrol Database. This means that every other member of Shark Patrol that you are currently trading with will be notified of your inability to pay this debt. And every member who inquirers, Checks the database, for up to five years will also be told.

Have you been unfairly rated?

If you believe that you have been unfairly rated by a Shark Patrol Member, we ask that you firstly contact that member and try to work out any misunderstanding.

If this fails to resolve your complaint or you believe that a member has abused access to the database in some way, you can lay a complaint

  • Note: Shark Patrol also tracks those who have a habit of Disputing, as a means of delaying or avoiding payment!
